Our Shorties are amazingly comfy - made from sustainable, naturally thermoregulating bamboo fabric. Think cotton only softer!

Choose between light to super absorption. The heavy & super options' gusset comes all the way up the front and back, almost to the waistband - so you'll know you're covered. Plus, the Shorties are seamfree - no irritating scratchy seams to annoy you on your period. That means that they're great for those with sensory issues.

Featuring an absorbent gusset (with the wicking fabric treated with SILVADUR™ to control odour,) as well as stay-dry, stay-cool technology to keep you feeling fresh. Our gusset wicking fabric is CPSIA certified.

No pads, tampons or cups needed - what a win for you AND the planet.

The Super absorption panties are generally for those with extremely heavy flow or have Endometriosis or PCOS. It's also great for overnight but take note that the padding is thicker and will take longer to dry. Most of our customers find the Heavy absorption to be more than adequate.

NOTE: Although the shell of the panty is made from Bamboo, the gusset is made using our amazing wicking fabric which sadly, cannot be bamboo, as bamboo doesn't wick away the flow as much nor keep you feeling dry. 

At Blushproof®, we're continually improving our product offering. As such, we now offer 4 different levels of absorption for most of our styles, barring the Swim and the Thong. The Swim now comes in Light and Moderate (as requested by lots of our customers) and the Thong still only comes in Light.

At Blushproof®, we’ve made sizing easy by aligning it with popular retailers like Woolworths and H&M. So if you know your size with them, you’ll know your Blushproof® size too. For example, if your daughter wears a size 11, that’s the same size on our site. Or if you’re a size L in other brands, you’ll order L from us. (Note: Jockey sizes tend to run smaller, so a Jockey L is more like a Blushproof® M.)

No worries if you get the size wrong! We offer a 30-day hassle-free exchange to ensure you get the perfect fit.

 

You are most welcome to exchange your blushproofs within 30 days from date of receipt of your order. You can read all about our exchange policy here.

Our leakproof bags are great for keeping a spare pair of blushproofs in. You can keep your clean pair in your bag and when you need to change, simply swap with your worn pair. They're small and discreet too.

Period Swimming Costume

About a month ago my daughter and I went to friends at the Vaal River. At first she didn’t want to get on the boat or swim because she was having her period. She wore a pad with her costume and board shorts to cover up just to feel “comfortable”. Another trip to the Vaal River and another period, but this time with a twist, we had just received her period swimming costume. The fit was perfect, but most importantly my daughter felt comfortable and confident knowing she didn’t have to worry about any leakage. She was able to swim and enjoy her weekend with her friends. I have been a happy customer for about 2years now, and over 4 purchase cycles and 5 different types of panties.
